This stunning palazzo apartment from the 15th century is the epitome of Venetian modern day opulence. Upon entering the apartment, a long corridor leads first to an ensuite bedroom then the magnificent living/ dining room with kitchen area, while stairs to the right take you to an upper level with a further double bedroom and bathroom. The decor is enriched by period pieces, antiques and objets d'art, brocades and precious silks from important Venetian textile houses, as well as interesting artwork, creating a textured ambience of luxury and comfort throughout.

This is the historical centre of the town with Piazza San Marco at its very heart and with Venice’s most coveted museums: Palazzo Ducale and Museo Correr. The buildings in this area of town are all on a fabulously grand scale. You will find most of the designer shops and luxury brands around here, including a number of fine jewellers and designers hidden among the colonnades of the piazza itself. The best time to visit is in the evening when the sun sets over the curved domes of St. Mark’s Basilica and live music sweeps across the piazza, defined by Napoleon as the “finest drawing room in Europe”.

This is a first class apartment, with high quality inclusions, and remarkable for its separation of its two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, uniquely ideal for two couples. The location is secure and perfect, for its short stroll to major sites and services. There are quality restaurants nearby, including La Caravella for lunch and Antico Carbonara for dinner. The closest supermarket is a little difficult to find, and it is necessary to receive precise instructions about how to find it down a lane past a cinema. With its own water gate, Palazzo Molin is perfect for easy access and egress with luggage. Venice Rentals provides excellent service in the booking process. This is the best accommodation we have enjoyed in four visits to Venice over the last few years. The passing gondoliers provide afternoon serenades should the windows be open. An excellent, modern Venetian experience.
