Stylish design apartment with private water gate in an Historic palazzo setting and a great location

This is the remaining property for sale in this very private and discreet palazzo of only eight apartments, only 30 seconds from the traghetto across the Grand Canal to Dorsoduro and San Polo.

It is on the ground floor with two entrances, a private one from the calle and one from the lovely courtyard. The apartment itself has a private water gate, with the possibility of creating a delightful small waterside terrace with table and chairs - more information on request.

As in all the other units, this historic apartment has been restored to an amazing standard, including terrazzo flooring, super stylish kitchen area, luscious bathrooms. Home automation and air conditioning throughout. Styled to an international level with contemporary design furniture, this well proportioned apartment is perfect for an international buyer to use as a second home or let.

What attracted us to this property

We always love good contemporary style in an historic setting - and this is it... with direct access on to the lovely central courtyard and literally a stone's throw from the Grand Canal traghetto as well as only two minutes to Campo Santo Stefano.

San Marco

This is the historical centre of the town with Piazza San Marco at its very heart and with Venice’s most coveted museums: Palazzo Ducale and Museo Correr. The buildings in this area of town are all on a fabulously grand scale. You will find most of the designer shops and luxury brands around here, including a number of fine jewellers and designers hidden among the colonnades of the piazza itself. The best time to visit is in the evening when the sun sets over the curved domes of St. Mark’s Basilica and live music sweeps across the piazza, defined by Napoleon as the “finest drawing room in Europe”.

This is the perfect location - super quiet yet only two minutes from Campo Santo Stefano via the antique shops and galleries of San Samuele.  Alternatively in 30 seconds you are on Venice's Grand Canal in a traghetto crossing to Dorsoduro at San Toma'. It couldn't be better located.
