Sandrina Rubelli English version
Sandrina Rubelli version Francaise
Rubelli has been in Venice for over 300 years, its name originating from ‘Red’ or ‘Rosso’, as they were originally dyers of fabric for the vessels and sails of the Venetian Republic, whose trademark hue was the ‘scarlet red’ still seen in Venice today ‘rosso veneziano’. From the sumptuous fabrics, woven on hand looms as originally designed by Leonardo Da Vinci and preserved throughout the centuries, through to the silks, damasks, velvets, linens, printed fabrics, and the more contemporary, innovative fabrics, they remain aware of ever-changing technological developments and engage in constant research aimed at progress, but always with a cultural and historic eye. From traditional and classic designs to 20th century-inspired creations, Rubelli continues to develop and evolve in the 21st century, with the permanent goal of achieving superb quality and a bespoke service, attentive to both the requirements of each client’s personality as well as to the characteristics of the property, in terms of history, the innovation dictated by our changing times, and a relentless quest for excellence.
