Villa Pasole is a very beautiful Villa Veneta dating back to the early part of the XVII century. It was built in pure Renaissance style on a panoramic site at the feet of the Dolomites in Pedavena, just a couple of kilometres from the beautiful ancient town of Feltre, and was the home of the noble Pasole Family as well as a meeting place for intellectuals and artists who met in the gardens and halls to discuss philosophy and literature.
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden “all’Italiana”, with typical geometrical flower beds, and bordered by a “peschiera”, a canal originally used for fish breeding.
The combined effect of the villa and the garden is one of harmony and aesthetic balance, combined with a spectacular panoramic position.
The building is grandiose and after a long period of abandon after World War I, and thanks to the passionate dedication of the present owner, it has now returned to excellent condition structurally and is ready for an interior restoration according to the taste of its future owners.
Total gross surface of the villa is 3,960 sqm. surrounded by a park of 27,000 sqm. It could also be possible to buy separately the original chapel and part of the stables behind the main building.
Pedavena is situated 2 kilometres from the ancient town of Feltre, 85 kilometres from Venice, 100 Kilometres from Cortina.
